The Signatory Superb marks the entry into Vispring’s two-layer spring architecture, pairing hand-opened long-stranded Austrian Moosburger® horsetail with hand-teased Real Shetland Wool blended with cashmere. This blend shapes both the feel and the thermal behaviour of the sleep surface in ways a single filling cannot, delivering a refined balance of support, loft, and temperature regulation from the first touch.
The ticking is woven from wool, silk, and viscose to favor breathability and softness, conditioning the microclimate at contact. The upholstery layers build in sequence: British fleece wool for resilience and moisture regulation, followed by the long, crimped Moosburger® horsetail to resist compression over time, then Real Shetland Wool blended with cashmere for a finer transition that moderates temperature. A core of Real Shetland Wool and organic cotton adds body and absorptive capacity, while the two layers of hand-nested, vanadium steel calico pocket springs (3,296 in a King) respond independently to weight and movement. The border is padded with coir and wool and reinforced with four rows of hand side-stitching to extend the sleeping surface to the edge, with woollen tufts and twine compressing the layers into a stable depth at every tuft point.
